Draft — this text is a working placeholder pending review by a Swiss lawyer. It is not yet the legally binding final version.
This policy explains what personal data kündigen24.ch collects and how we use it, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
The controller is the operating entity named in our Imprint. [Contact address of the data protection point to be completed.]
We process: your email address (for confirmation and letter tracking); the letter data you enter (name, address, customer or contract number, chosen termination date and your signature); and payment data needed to take payment. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
We use your data solely to create and post your cancellation letter, to process payment, to keep you informed about delivery, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
To deliver the service we share the necessary data with Swiss Post (to post the letter) and our payment provider. We do not sell your data. [Full list of processors to be completed.]
We keep letter and payment records for as long as needed for the service and for the retention periods required by Swiss law, then delete or anonymise them. [Exact retention periods to be confirmed.]
We set a small cookie on your browser to keep you signed in. It lasts 60 days from your last visit, so you don’t have to request a new link every time. The cookie contains only a session identifier — no personal data. You can sign out at any time from the header menu, which deletes the cookie from this device.
Under the FADP you may ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in the Imprint. [Dedicated privacy contact to be added.]
